Welcome to the 2018 Northern Wisconsin State Fair Entries and Exhibits Information Page. Within these tabs, you will find all the information you will need to enter our competitive entries divisions.
History and tradition of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair goes back over 120 years, with the purpose of bringing the members of the community together to share and learn from each other. In 2017, there were over 7000 exhibits, educational and informational demonstrations in all the buildings on the fairground. We had over 5000 exhibitors in our Open, Junior and School Divisions, and awarded over $20,000.00 in prize money to exhibitors. We are proud to carry on that tradition into 2018.
We encourage all to be involved in this long-standing area tradition. Exhibitors in Open and Junior Divisions have a nominal entry fee, and along with the opportunity to become a blue-ribbon winner, will receive an armband to get into the fair every day. Junior Fair Divisions are open to Chippewa County youth who are members of a 4H group or other education group approved by the Fair Board (See the Exhibitor Guide for approved groups). Open Class Divisions are open to all individuals who wish to compete. School Exhibits are open to Chippewa County Public and Private Schools and Homeschool groups and entries must be submitted through your school.
Open Class and Junior Fair Exhibitor Guides will be posted on this website soon. After April 1, a limited number of Exhibitor Guides will be available for pick up in the Fairgrounds Office. A copy can be mailed if you request in writing and include a check for $5.00 to cover the cost of printing and mailing. Help us keep our costs down so we don’t have to raise entry fees. School Exhibitors may enter items through their schools at no cost. The School Exhibitor Guide & Premium Listings is on the website now.
Please note entry deadlines and dates listed in each Exhibitor Guide. Save money and get the Early Bird entry fee if you enter before June 13. On-line entries are encouraged and that deadline is June 18. There are significant changes to schedules and some department listings this year. Plan early as some exhibits must be delivered to the fairgrounds in June.
Please share this information with your friends and family. Make the “Fair Tradition” a “Family Tradition”! If you have questions about entering, e-mail us at: email@example.com
DID YOU KNOW?
As an exhibitor in Open or Junior Fair, you receive a week-long season pass to the 2018 Northern Wisconsin State Fair (July 11-15) upon delivery of your exhibit to the fairgrounds. Just one more reason to enter an exhibit in the fair! (Sorry, School exhibitors do not receive a season pass as they do not pay a fee to enter.)
