DID YOU KNOW?

As an exhibitor in Open or Junior Fair, you receive a week-long season pass to the 2018 Northern Wisconsin State Fair (July 11-15) upon delivery of your exhibit to the fairgrounds. Just one more reason to enter an exhibit in the fair! (Sorry, School exhibitors do not receive a season pass as they do not pay a fee to enter.)

History and tradition of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair goes back over 120 years, with the purpose of bringing the members of the community together to share and learn from each other. In 2017, there were over 7000 exhibits, educational and informational demonstrations in all the buildings on the fairground. We had over 5000 exhibitors in our Open, Junior and School Divisions, and awarded over $20,000.00 in prize money to exhibitors. We are proud to carry on that tradition into 2018.

We encourage all to be involved in this long-standing area tradition. Exhibitors in Open and Junior Divisions have a nominal entry fee, and along with the opportunity to become a blue-ribbon winner, will receive an armband to get into the fair every day. Junior Fair Divisions are open to Chippewa County youth who are members of a 4H group or other education group approved by the Fair Board (See the Exhibitor Guide for approved groups). Open Class Divisions are open to all individuals who wish to compete. School Exhibits are open to Chippewa County Public and Private Schools and Homeschool groups and entries must be submitted through your school.
