Fairest of the Fair

Hello! My name is Beth McIlquham and I am very excited to be your Northern Wisconsin State Fair Fairest of the Fair.

I grew up in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and graduated from the Chippewa Falls Senior High School in 2019. While in high school, I was actively involved in music and was a performer for the school’s show choir. I also competed on the equestrian team and still love to competitively ride horses today. I am currently attending the Chippewa Valley Technical College where I am completing my general credits. After 13 years of 4-H experience, I have decided to become a youth program educator for a program like 4-H. I currently work as a waitress at Albertville Tavern, but over the summer I will be interning for Pierce County’s 4-H Program. In my spare time, I love riding horses and taking part in 4-H related activities. See you at the fair on July 7-11!

Hello, my name is Alissa Maier and I am very excited to serve as your 2019 Northern Wisconsin State Fair Fairest of the Fair!

I am the daughter of Janet and Steven Maier of Jim Falls, WI. I graduated from the Chippewa Falls Senior High School in 2017 and participated in FFA and Orchestra and played Soccer for High School and a traveling league. I am a Junior at UW-River Falls and am majoring in Dairy Science with a minor in Agricultural Business. At school, I at a private dog kennel and clip cattle for Willows Edge Holsteins. Growing up I was a member of the Jim Town Jumpers where I did projects such as photography, cooking, sheep, beef, and dairy. In my free time, I show cattle from my farm and that I own at local, state, and national levels. I very excited to see all the fair projects this year. See you at the fair, July 10th-14th!
