BBQ Fest

The Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds is excited to host the inaugural BBQ Festival happening on Saturday, September 6th. This vibrant new event promises a fantastic celebration of local culinary talent, with something for everyone in the community.

Thanks to the generous sponsors and partners in our region, admission to this event is free.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Mouth-Watering Barbecue: Enjoy a variety of barbecue styles from top local chefs, regional food trucks, and backyard pitmasters. From smoky ribs to savory pulled pork, sides, and desserts, there will be something to satisfy every palate.

Live Music and Barn Dance: Dance and sing along to live performances from local bands and musicians throughout the weekend. Family-friendly entertainment and activities will also be available.

Cooking Competitions: Witness the region's top chefs showcasing their skills in judged cooking competitions, including exciting barbecue contests for the title of Best Barbecue, Best Sauce, and more.

Corn Hole Tournament: Compete for the title in the greatest Midwest backyard sport and take home the trophy.
